My inflight skincare routine

Do you have an inflight skincare routine??

If you don’t, no stress… I literally did NOTHING to my face mid-flight up until a few months ago.

I’m not sure what got me on a skincare kick, maybe the fact that I felt like an absolute degenerate sleeping in a full face of makeup on long haul flights with no go-to moisturizer to speak of…

Don’t be like me… LOL.

Here’s the thing. Your routine doesn’t have to be complex. In fact, it should be SUPER easy and something you can do in under 5 minutes. We all know what it’s like to feel cramped and spied on during a flight. LIKE WHY IS EVERYONE WATCHING MY EVERY MOVE?!?

So you shouldn’t be busting out bottle upon bottle of creams, serums, and salves. NOPE. Just a few easy to pack products that WORK.

Here’s a look at all the inflight skincare products I use and why I like them:

Clear Plastic Case

Stoney Clover is one of my favorite travel accessories brands and these clear cases are a must for carrying your inflight essentials. They come in a bunch of colors and they’re much more sturdy (and cute) than that nasty old ziplock you’ve been rocking since your senior year trip to Cabo....

Burt’s Bee’s Micellar Cleansing Wipes

I googled Micellar a while ago when some beauty blogger was talking about it and wondered what all the fuss was about. Truly, if you want to actually CLEAN your face, these wipes are what you need.

BASICALLY, micelles surround dirt particles and break them down. That way they can clean your skin without drying it out. BOOM. No soap needed.

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Cloud Cream

I can’t get over how light this moisturizer is. It literally feels like air. Maybe that’s why it’s called cloud cream. It’s super hydrating and keeps my skin from drying out mid-flight.

Burt’s Bees Lip Balm

This is self-explanatory people!

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

I LOVE THIS STUFF. I spray it all over my face and it just gives my skin a little perk up and moisture. You can also use this as a setting spray!

Listerine Strips

THE OG!! Lol, do you guys remember these from middle school?! I’ve decided to bring them back because THEY WORK! Sometimes you don’t want to be bothered brushing your teeth in the nasty bathroom (unless you’re flying first class and have one of those apartment things).

So these should get you through until you’re able to actually brush em brush em brush em…

Under Eye Patches

My alliances aren’t steadfast on this one. I like to switch up the brands I use for this. Recently, I’ve been loving these ones from Tarte, or I use Sephora’s brand and Patchology is my OG. These are just so great because the bags under your eyes are so real after a long flight.

Fight that by putting these bad boys under your eyes while in the air. Much less crazy looking than a full-on sheet mask lol…

AND THERE YOU GO!

This routine takes me no more than 5 minutes and it’s not at all disruptive to the person sitting next to you. Don’t worry I asked the lady next to me...but I had to wake her up to do that so I think that annoyed her more LOL.
