When I think of Central America I think of people with personalities as bright as the paint on their houses. I think of the countless uninhabited islands waiting to be explored and the thousands of sea creatures that call the stunning coral reefs in this part of the world home.
Wow, I know I say this about everywhere I go but this country is seriously magical. It’s quite literally a tropical paradise and I feel SO lucky to be here and not in the cold RN.

It’s hard not to reflect this time of year and for me it’s been quite a pivotal year. From ending my contract at my local TV station and launching this blog to traveling the world with my mom and partnering with some incredible brands along the way. I feel EXTREMELY fortunate for everything that’s come my way in 2018. But I feel most fortunate for the places I’ve traveled to.

I could be a little biased because I’m from here, but I think Chicago is one of the most beautiful places to be during the holidays. The snow is falling, the twinkle lights are sparkling and hopefully the temperature is above freezing (lol).

“Your twenties are your selfish years”. You’ve probably seen that saying once or twice, hell you’ve probably pinned that quote to your “quotes” Pinterest Board (don’t be shy, we all have). And while I really don’t like the idea of anyone glamourizing being selfish, I whole heartedly agree that your 20s should be about YOU!
Let’s be honest. How often in your daily life do you come across the opportunity to totally let loose, have zero responsibilities and party until your feet fall off? If you answer every weekend, you’re probably still in college. The correct answer in the adult world, is not often.
