When I think of a piece of clothing that is versatile it usually has the word jean in front of it. Jean skirt, jean jacket, jean shorts, just JEANS! So when thinking about the perfect piece to do my first of these “try on” videos I thought a jean skirt would be a good starting place.
Around the holidays I did a post on all of my holiday RTR picks and you guys went wild for it (okay…that’s a slight exaggeration lol but you get the point). So I wanted to bring it back for the spring!
Sooooo…. Let me just state facts. Wrapping a saree is NOT EASY. BUTTTT I wanted/needed to learn how to wear one so I could show off my super fly saree in India. That being said, I had no idea how many steps it takes to get it all wrapped up. But I’m not one to shy away from a challenge and I was determined to learn how.
CONFESSION TIME. I am addicted to shopping. Seriously, it’s like a drug. Anyone else with me? I loved having a job in high school and college because that gave me money to spend on one thing: CLOTHES. And even as an “adult” a lot of my paycheck used to be spent on, you guessed it, new outfits. Work outfits, going out clothes, wedding attire, you name it, I needed it. As a woman working in the TV industry there is constant pressure to look your best. That usually meant needing new clothes. But let’s be real, my starting reporter salary COULD NOT support my need for new outfits.
