I’ve been thinking A LOT about what I’m grateful for lately. And while I’ve really dropped the ball on keeping up with my gratitude journal, I feel like today of all days I should reflect on how lucky I am in so many ways.
October is here people! And if you haven’t already made your annual trip to the pumpkin patch yet...well let’s just not even go there, of course you have! But if you’re like me, one trip to the pumpkin patch just won’t cut it when it comes to celebrating the ultimate basic biotch season.
TODAY IS A BIG DAY! My beautiful, smart, adventurous mom turns 60!! I honestly can’t believe it. She looks sooooo good! I hope I get that lucky lol. ANYWAYS.. to celebrate this monumental milestone birthday I wanted to surprise her with a Bollywood themed birthday party. Seems like a random theme? Well, if you know my mom, you know how much she LOVES India. She’s been twice and we’re about to go on our first trip there on Friday! EEEKKKK I can’t believe it.
The weekend before the first Monday in September, Americans put on their best white outfits, plan weekend trips and say goodbye to Summer the best way they know how. And in my opinion there’s no better way to bid summer farewell than with your best friends, on a lake, with A LOT of alcohol. Woah…that sounded kind of aggressive.
I’ve lived in Palm Springs for more than 3 years and have attended Coachella 4 times. Let’s just say I’ve learned a thing or two about the do’s and don’ts when it comes to the festival frenzy.
